Great atmosphere with the perfect evening breeze, the deck at Sea Gull’s Nest in Sandy Hook was a great place to have a beach party. Just remember you are in a state park, and their rules apply, so the beach closes at sunset! Yep that means you pay for parking before 4pm, but after that parking is free.

Open Sunday thru Thursday: 12 Noon until sunset
Friday & Saturday: 12 Noon until 9pm

“Perched 25 feet above ground between the Sandy Hook Bay and Atlantic Ocean on the Sandy Hook Penninsula, Sea Gulls’ Nest boasts a 360 degree panoramic view of the coastal beauty of one of our country’s protected national parks (you can even see the Manhattan skyline to the north!).

Just feet from the beach and waves, Sea Gulls’ Nest offers a unique experience for all visitors, regardless of age. Our deck has three sections (each with a view of both ocean and bay) – an open air (no walls or roof) section to enjoy food and beverage while listening to live entertainment,  a “tented” section for either catered events or casual dining (for those who want a “quieter” experience), and a wrap around full service bar.”
